Could not connect problem after install

I am having trouble after installed recursion on W8.1 x64 (it worked on my w10 machine). I have tried the following:
- uninstall + delete recursion files and reinstalled
- disable antivirus
- allowed all apps through firewall

Any help would be great.

I'm getting the same issue with Windows 10. I have no idea what is causing it to happen.

After exploring this further, the problem seems to be related to .NET and can be fixed by updated it to 4.6. I cannot test this with my windows 8.1 machine because windows no longer allows updates for machines with ryzen cpus.

I don't know if it is currently down as it's the last weekend of the month, meaning the games player-base is likely higher.
I recently added the program and am unable to login currently as well though.
Where should I look to see if it is down, Twitter, Discord..?
Does a discord exist for the program?

Mine randomly started working... Then had to put it in Admin mode to get the cross-hair and overlay to work.
