Having troubles installing the tracker

Tracker had been refusing to update so I tried a reinstall. Unfortunately now I'm getting a "The Installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with the package. The error code is 2889" My initial google searches haven't turned up anything that worked, so I figured I'd post here on the off chance someone knows what's up.

Tried both this (https://recursiontracker.com/files/RTSTBeta1021.msi) installer which was posted to another topic and the one on the site itself. Both get same error.

Try uninstalling completely and removing the Recursion folder completely, then reinstall with this more update to date installer. (https://recursiontracker.com/files/RTSTBeta1023.msi)

If that fails try running the installer as admin.

Those were some of the first things I did. Took me awhile to figure out, but by dragging the installer to a new folder on the desktop I was able to finally get it to install.
