Hi!

See below. I cannot uninstall from the control panel the old version 0.9.2.8 but I already deleted the Recursion folder inside PS2!

Now when I try to install the latest version RTST1031 from your website I get the error below. I already restarted and tried ADMIN. I cannot find a similar case in the forums :(

It looks like it is trying to uninstall it through a previous update msi... probably when you originally updated to 0.9.2.8 from an older version. I've never actually seen the installer fail like this before though.

Try renaming the new msi file to rtstupdate.msi

Then when you uninstall and it brings up the directory message prompt as in the first picture, point to the rtstupdate.msi and see if that removes it. Then install it again from the same file.

If that doesn't work, you might want to try a program such as CCleaner to clean up the registry entries that would have been set when windows installed it originally. Then you may be able to install the new version again.

Also, redownload the newest version from the site. I just updated the installer to 0.10.3.2.

Hi, unfortunately nothing helped.

I also redownloaded and cleaned registry. I ran CCleaner on both windows and applications but still nothing :( CCleaner cannot remove or uninstall it either!

This is more of an issue with the Windows installer and Windows rather than the Recursion Tracker itself. This specific problem can exist in other software titles as well. I'm looking more into it now.

You might want to try this support site from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/en
