Vanu Overlay WIP (Posting Progress)

So first I designed the Basic Shapes using angles and some curves

http://i.imgur.com/YzHeJpo.pngThen I thought that the overall overlay should be segmented based on the art studies on vanu I did. So I drew lines on the image to show where I want the cuts to show up

Created basic glow lines will most likely have to change those made cuts and started adding textures to metal plating for base overlay

So I added an overall glow and show where the text should go, and added bottom borders I hope this is turning out VS

http://i.imgur.com/UkKEsq5.pngLooking at this some of the text will probably have issues but I think I can fix that by removing some and perhaps using icons. We will see. Vanu is a lot harder than the other factions due to their style.

Finally got all the plate textures down although probably be adjusting the gradients. photoshop crashed twice for some reason. Here is the file without the glow effects

Worked on some more textures and the glow lines, there are a few things I don't like with this but it's still in progress so still working

Added some tech information to the overlay, worked on the shine a bit more as well and finished out more texturing

Why would you need to install CS6?

Constructive feedback,

The overlay looks more fabulous than it looks high-tech. Personally would not use this overlay bc of that. The VS icons that are close to the center are reminiscent of flowers. Some vanu may like this but my personal taste is more along the lines of hi-tech badassery.

Pen is diffrent from pencil. With pen you place points and a curve is made through the points.
