Recursion registers random vehicle kills

This started a few months ago, and I just assumed it was an issue with the prior update to Planetside. But having just updated, the issue still occurs, and it's driving me nuts.

Randomly, and for seemingly no reason, my Recursion client will log driver-less vehicle kills using a Spear anti-vehicle turret and other means, even when I'm in Sanctuary. It doesn't add to any of my stats, but for some reason, it still shows up in the kill records, adding a bunch of green marks to my stats that never actually happened. The provided image is when I went on an AFK "killstreak" while I was eating dinner.

Anyone know what the heck is going on, or how I might fix it?

My Recursion is also doing this, which is why I have come here and registered. It sucks to have the addon reduced to nothing more than a crosshair overlay, but with all this junk data showing its useless! :(
