New with 0.11 is the SciFi HUD alternate theme for the in-game overlays! It features the same basic features in a smaller package and a minimalist, futuristic style inspired by popular science fiction.

Installation
On the main menu, press "Add Mod" (http://i.imgur.com/OnD3rBk.png), find the "SciFi HUD" mod, and press "Install" (http://i.imgur.com/5DiyqEf.png). If you accidentally hide the mod manager or need to access it while in-game (it hides automatically when a session starts), move your mouse to the left side of the client and click in the highlighted region with the arrow (http://i.imgur.com/BxypaeJ.png).

Features
The SciFi HUD currently features a statistics tab and three HUD sizes, with more components to come.

Stats Tab
The Stats Tab's primary function is showing detailed session stats as well as a large list of recent kill and death events on-demand with a keypress, by default bound to [`] (usually located above the Tab key). It features color-coded elements, a background that subtly changes based on current faction, and a customizable logo in the corner.

The "Normal" size of the HUD essentially serves as a shrunken down version of the Stats Tab that is persistently displayed on your screen.

Configuration
To configure what image is used for the branding of the overlays, click the "Stats Tab" or the Normal and Small sizes of the "SciFi HUD" components (http://i.imgur.com/5D3zcLY.png) and "Configure" (http://i.imgur.com/a6X1U8P.png). Press the "[...]" (http://i.imgur.com/MtZzq0h.png) button and navigate to the file path of the image you'd like to use. A set of preloaded logos is included in the "Branding" folder. For easy access, copy and paste your own images into this folder so you can quickly navigate to them later on. Right click anywhere in the mod components and click "Open Directory" (http://i.imgur.com/5froU4a.gif) to reach the mod folder, where the "Branding" folder is contained.

1. What are the inspirations for the aesthetic style?


The main inspirations are 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Alien (1979), and Moon (2009). All three make heavy use of Eurostile Bold Extended as a typeset, with a minimalist off-white text scheme.

Bug fixes:
-Fixed issue with long names and outfit names
-Branding now shows error message if selecting an image that is too large (max size 167x38, .PNG format)
-Normal HUD size can now be dragged and dropped in UI/repositioned

Features:
-Fonts no longer need to be installed manually. They will automatically load in with no user input required, and will not modify your system files. They are now contained in the mod folder under "Fonts" if you wish to use them elsewhere, for example to make custom branding images consistent in theme.

-All components now overwrite existing components of the same style. For example, adding the SciFi HUD will automatically remove the default Recursion HUD Overlay.

Right on time for the 5 year anniversary of the last update, in comes a patch with the following changes:



Better handling of new weapon strings

Construction assets should now be correctly handled
The multiple unique camo variant weapons should now be correctly named by the base model
This is still WIP and some names will be tweaked before full release


Better handling of NSO faction

Due to no real API support for tracking which faction an NS Operative is currently contracting for, tracking of team kill and team death behavior is fundamentally broken and has been removed
Kills and deaths while playing as an NSO character are now color coded purely based on whether it was a kill or death and ignore faction identities
Faction identity now displays as NS rather than appearing blank, and NS-specific graphics and colors are added to all color-coded elements to properly account for NSO faction players


Behind-the-scenes improvements to module behavior to make strings and graphics more consistent between the various sizes of the overlay and the Stats Tab
