Dark Screen when running overlay

The entire game dims / darkens as if the brightness is lowered when running the overlay.

Disabling the overlay ingame restores the brightness to normal. It seems to me like the overlay adds a dark transparent sheet over the entire screen.

My resolution is 3440x1440.

Same thing here. After each kill the screen dims and tapping ~ clears it. But have to tap it after every kill. 0.o

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134)
I'd attach the dxdiag but it's far too many characters long for the forum to allow it. And the file size is apparently too large?

i read the troubleshooting guide etc. no fix for this?
