Whenever I have the overlay turned on, planetside freezes a few seconds after it shows my characters. I can still here the game running and click on things, but it seems like just the picture will freeze. When the overlay is turned off, the game works just fine.
I am running 0.9.2.9.
Can you try going in options, turning on beta participation then going to help-update and see if the new version works better?
Did this problem start recently?
I did the update so now my version is 0.10.1.8 It still does it after the update. I haven't tried to use the overlay in about a month or two. I just tried again tonight and that's when it started happening.
Is there any other overlay / hooking software you're running? Like evga precision, obs, etc?
I had rainmeter and overwolf both on. After I turned both of them off and logged onto planetside, it seems to be working fine now. If it happens again I'll be sure to let you know.
Overwolf causes issues unless you start our program afterward. It's something we're working on improving.
