    Parameter not valid?

i have had no problem with the program at all. It runs smooth when i play it and does not crash. But today when i try to start it up it just gives me the parameter not valid error. What could be the problem since it ran fine before?

Looking over your error report it looks like an issue with Microsoft libraries.

Try running a repair install of the .NET Framework 4.5

Right, but have you run a repair install of it?

Also have you tried our other troubleshooting steps here? https://recursion.tk/showthread.php?...sues-amp-Fixes

Sorry, we have been trying to get the new version ready as it contains a lot of bug fixes and improvements.

I looked at your stacktrace again and think it's actually related to the font not being configured correctly on your system. This Microsoft article specifies the exact error you are getting.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943140

    The resolution from the article:

Ensure that "Tahoma (TrueType)" is referencing "Tahoma.ttf" in the registry:

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\F onts

It should not be set to Tahoma.fon, for example.

Make sure your Tahoma matches what the image shows.

If Tahoma is missing all together you may want to run System File Checker, a built in tool from Microsoft.
